Cyclic Behaviour of Heat-Damaged Beam?Column Joints Modified with Nano-Silica, Nano-Titanium, and Nano-Alumina

This research is designed to check the potential of modifying concrete with nanomaterials enhance cyclic behavior beam?column joints. It also studies effect heat on joints modified nanomaterials. Experimental and numerical programs are carried out explore heat-damaged unheated RC Six half-scale exterior beam-to-column were prepared; two control specimens, specimens nano-silica nano-alumina, nano-titanium. The cement was replaced by 1.33% nano-alumina 0.67% (by weight), other mix nano-titanium, where a total 2% in nano-titanium specimens. One specimen from each subjected temperature 720 °C for 2 h. joint lateral loading beam axial column. Test results showed that replacement or recommended joints’ behavior. changed mode failure brittle shear combined type involving ductile hinge shear.
